Association

This non-profit association aims to develop alternative pedagogies (such as Montessori pedagogy) throughout the world and mainly to make it accessible to vulnerable children, in societies in which these working methods are found. be a real asset.

The association is just emerging, our starting point is the school: "La maison des enfants Donatin" in Benin, 10 km from Cotonou.

Montessori pedagogy

It is a pedagogy founded in 1906 by Maria Montessori which allows the child to integrate concrete and abstract notions by discovering them, by manipulating them and by integrating them through sensory materials designed and reflected by Maria Montessori.

The child's rhythm is respected, that is to say that we take into account the time of each of his sensitive periods (periods to which the child will be more or less attracted by such or such learning).

This method allows the child to evolve according to the sensitive period in which he is, using specific material at his stage of development.

It is a pedagogy in which the child is master of his development and which focuses essentially on 4 dimensions of his development: physical, social, intellectual and emotional.

For Maria Montessori, the pleasure of discovery in two or more brings with it the pleasure of knowledge and the pleasure of knowledge brings the pleasure of learning.
